William Michael Rushing
(WOODLAND) Services for William Michael Rushing, 48, of Woodland, formerly of Rock Mills, will be Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Allen Arrington officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Mr. Rushing died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Survivors include his wife, Letetia Morris Rushing of Woodland; one son, Michael Rushing of Woodland; two granddaughters; four sisters, Nita Starnes of Glenn, Ga., Teresa Crockett and Samantha Burke of Woodland and Pam Halsey of Rock Mills; and one brother, Tim Rushing of Woodland.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kirby, Stevie Bolt, Jimmy Albright, Benjie Starnes, Craig Hand and Brian Hand.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Rushing was born Aug. 4, 1960, son of Rayford Janlaney and Ellie Ruth Burke Rushing. He had worked as a mechanic with Milliken and was preceded in death by his parents.
