Mavis Bolt Pike

(DOTHAN) Services for Mavis Bolt Pike, 86, of Dothan will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel in Roanoke with the Rev. Clark Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow at the Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Mrs. Pike died Monday, Nov. 3, at Wesley Manor of Dothan.

Survivors include one son, Larry Pike of Dothan; one sister, Clois Towler of Roanoke; one brother, R. C. Bolt of Roanoke; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pike was born Nov. 24, 1921, daughter of Lee and Nina Wilder Bolt. She was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church and had worked as a weaver for Handley Mills. Mrs. Pike is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Pike.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Main Congregational Christian Church.
