Douglas Junior Teal

(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Douglas Junior Teal, 51, of Carrollton, Ga., died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008.

He was born April 15, 1957, in Carroll County, Ga., the son of Edna Mae Latimer Teal and the late Frank Junior Teal. Mr. Teal was a pipe welder for Metro Piping and a member of Bethel Church of God. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Teal.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Teal; his children, Michael Teal, Dustin Teal and Erica Teal, all of Carrollton, Cathy Rogers of Woodland, Ala., and Kevin Teal of Villa Rica, Ga.; sister Michelle Vinson and brother David Teal, both of Carrollton; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with the Revs. Hershell Armstrong and Johnathan Hannah officiating. Interment will follow in the Caney Head Cemetery.
