Jonathan Alan Morrison, 21, of 38 County Rd. 411, Newell – third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property – Oct. 8
Joseph C. Johnson, 35, of 344 County Rd. 5, Heflin – two counts of failure to appear in court (second-degree possession of marijuana and DUI) – Oct. 7

Cemetery vandalized
Mary Lacy reported desecration of graves at Forrester’s Chapel Church Cemetery on County Road 33 near Wadley on Oct. 10. Four headstones belonging to members of the Atkins, Carson and Johnson families were damaged.
Thefts
Mark Rakestraw of Dallas, Ga., reported a theft of property from 531 Antler Trail, Wedowee, on Oct. 13. Taken were fishing equipment and a gun.
Alan Craig Gibbs of 940 County Rd. 92, Graham, reported a burglary on Oct. 6. Several guns were taken.
Michael Bean of 1350 County Rd. 223, Delta, reported a burglary and theft on Oct. 12. Taken were a 2000 or 2001 tan Honda 300, a red 1999 Kawasaki 220 and a white and yellow Polaris 250.
Rozelle Yates East of Lineville reported a theft from 500 County Rd. 38, Lineville. Taken were a car battery and a chrome toolbox.
