Award offered for stolen cattle

The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association announced last week a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) who stole cattle from Roanoke Stockyards two weeks ago.

Seventy-five calves were taken from the sale barn that had been left there by their owners the night before the sale that Wednesday, Sept. 24.

There have been reports of cattle thefts in 12 rural counties, including Randolph and Clay.

Danny James Boyd, 33, of 17 Ziglar Blvd., Roanoke – DUI, resisting arrest, criminal mischief (two counts) and assault on a police officer – Oct. 4

Autumn Brooke “Shawty” Langley, 22, of 364 County Rd. 42, Wedowee – failure to appear in court – Oct. 4

Brian Larrell Trammell, 30, of 94 Betty St., Roanoke – DUI – Oct. 4

Mario Rashad Adamson, 23, of 802 Industrial Blvd., Apt. C-1, Roanoke – public drunkenness – Oct. 4

Jermery Lee Autrey, 19, of Five Points – third-degree assault – Oct. 3

John Kyle Taft, 30, of 4118 County Rd. 17, Roanoke – two counts of failure to appear in court – Oct. 3
