Ruby Smith Patterson

(LAGRANGE, Ga.) Services for Ruby Smith Patterson, 90, of LaGrange, Ga., formerly of Roanoke, will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Stanley Yarbrough and John Dockweiler officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15.

Mrs. Patterson died Monday, July 14, at Hospice LaGrange.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Buttrum of LaGrange; one son, Leonard of Barnesville, Ga.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Patterson was born Feb. 15, 1918, daughter of Ernest and Lucy Mae Hester Smith. She was a member of the Bethany Lime Christian Church and had been a sales clerk for Carters Shoe Store. Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Patterson, and her parents.
