Novis R. Calhoun Vowell

(PENSACOLA, Fla.) Novis R. Calhoun Vowell, 87, of Pensacola, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in Gainesville, Fla.

The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola with burial in Clopton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.

Born May 17, 1920, in Wedowee, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four children, Celia Driggers of Pace, Fla., Bobbie Bailey of Berkeley Lake, Ga., Jeff Vowell of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Rocky Vowell of Pensacola; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Rowe.
