CHYF holds first ever Family Fun Day at French Hammond Park

The Chris Hammond Youth Foundation will hold a fundraising Family Fun Day event Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. at French Hammond Park on the corner of Old Highway 431 and County Road 6 in Wedowee.

Admission to the event is free.

Family Fun Day will feature music by Ryan Robertson and Roger Hammett and also a talent show with cash and prizes awarded.

Along with the music and talent show, the event will feature plenty of food, games, a rock wall and more.

Family Fun Day will also present an opportunity for all community members to try and hit off a former Major League pitcher – Chris Hammond.
