Bobby Wayne Smith

(ROANOKE) Services for Bobby Wayne Smith, 62, of Roanoke will be Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Williams and the Rev. S.T. Janney officiating. Burial will follow at Center Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Mr. Smith died Friday, Aug. 3, at his home.

Survivors include a brother, Ray Smith of Newnan, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Marsha Fisher of Roanoke and Dianne Gooden of Wadley; and a stepson, Terry Green of Auburn.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Smith was born Dec. 14, 1944, son of Charlie and Oma Moore Smith. He was a self-employed painter.
