Bennie Reese

(WADLEY) Bennie Reese, 79, of Wadley, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Care Center of Opelika.

Services will be Wednesday, July 18, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wadley with the Rev. Cornelius Reese, the Rev William Phillips and Bishop Lathonia Wright officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa G. Reese of Wadley and Deborah B. Reese and Pamela P. Herren of Roanoke; two sons, Wayne L. Reese of Wadley and Michael C. Reese of Roanoke; three sisters, Mary A. Houston of LaGrange, Ga.; Willie E. Reese of Atlanta; Annette Gilder of Gary, Ind.; two brothers, Charles Reese of Wadley and Dolphus Reese of Chattanooga, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Rowe Reese.

Public viewing will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the funeral.
