Edna Smith Reynolds

(GOODWATER) Services for Edna Smith Reynolds, 87, of Goodwater, were Monday, March 12, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home with Rev. Hughey Reynolds and Rev. John Harold Denney officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Reynolds died Saturday, March 11, at Lake Martin Community Hospital.

She was born on May 19, 1919, in Clay County to Newton Alexander Miller and Julia Viola Ray Miller. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and was retired from Russell Corporation as a sewing machine operator after 20-plus years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Lavelle Reynolds of Wedowee; a daughter, Renetta Smith of Goodwater; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lounell Sherrer and Jimmie Zeladonis. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, O.C. Smith; and five sisters.
