Two charged with receiving stolen property

The execution of a search warrant on Seymour Drive on Friday of last week resulted in the arrest of two people on charges of receiving stolen property

According to Roanoke Police Department investigator Billy Lane, officers recovered items taken last July in Tallapoosa County.

Sandra Jean Parker, 38, and Benjamin Lewis, 40, both of 590 Seymour Dr., Lot 5, were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and violation of the prohibition law.

Other arrests

Lynetta Roxanne Stevens, 36, of Emory Pointe Apartments, County Road 79, Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 12 and charged with theft of property.

William Devon Clark, 23, of 1345 Satterwhite St., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 12 on Chestnut Street and charged with DUI.

Gerson James Carson, 57, of 18121 Hwy. 77 South, Wadley, was arrested on Feb. 8 and charged with two counts of failure to pay fines.

Kimberly Anne Burke, 40, of Lot 3, Johnson Street, Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 7 and charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal trespassing.

Billy Eugene Brooks, 26, of 520 West Ave., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with failure to pay fines.

Anthony Dewayne Staples, 24, of Roanoke was arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with failure to pay fines.

Elish Leona Smith, 22, of 67 Betty St., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with assault (misdemeanor).

Kristy Moore, 25, of 550 Stone Ave., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 3 and charged with simple assault.

Jennifer Gilliland Sellers, 30, of 186 Peggy Dr., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 3 and charged with probation violation.

Henry James Locke Jr., 33, of Moss Point, Miss., was arrested on Feb. 3 and charged with failure to appear in court.

Quentin Jabbar Oliver, 30, of 368 Johnson St., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 3 and charged with stealing a bicycle.

A 16-year-old student at Handley Middle School was arrested on Feb. 2 and charged with disorderly conduct.

Keyonda Runterral O’Neal, 28, of 695 County Rd. 44, Wedowee, was arrested on Feb. 1 and charged with failure to appear in court.

Kevin Maurice Thompson, 31, of 767 Reed St., Roanoke, was arrested on Feb. 1 and charged with probation violation.

Michael Keith Kirby, 21, of 120 County Rd. 650, Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 31 and charged with failure to pay DUI fines.

Wesley Jerome Nelson, 39, of Macon, Ga., was arrested on Jan. 31 at the Budget Inn and charged with obstructing government operations and possession of marijuana.
