Runaway teens found safe
Three Roanoke teenagers, missing for more than 48 hours, were found safe on Thursday of last week.
According to investigator Billy Lane of Roanoke Police Department, the three 14-year-olds, two males and female, were missing from the start of school Tuesday morning until approximately 10:20 Thursday. They stayed in Wedowee the two nights they were away from home and were caught in a vehicle on Louina Road.
The three have been charged with child in need of supervision and turned over to juvenile probation services.
In addition, two 17-year-olds who aided them have been charged with three counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and interfering with child custody.
Drug arrest
Following a traffic stop on Chestnut Street near Roanoke Stockyards on Saturday, Sheron Renee Berry, 34, of 11270 County Rd. 33, Roanoke, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (suspected crack cocaine), DUI and possession of marijuana. Also arrested was Chris Lajohea Foster, 18, of 429 Pine St., Roanoke. He is charged with possession of marijuana.
Other arrests
Gary Alejandro-Martinez Valencia, 28, of Riverview, Fla., was arrested on Jan. 22 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court.
Jeffery Michael Cole, 32, of 214 Airport Rd., Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 20 and charged with domestic violence.
Christy Shanae Foster, 22, of 1693 Recreation Dr., Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 20 and charged with harassing communications.
Mycquail Antowain Lewis, 32, of 825 Government St., Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 20 on Chestnut Street and charged with DUI and two counts of resisting arrest.
Markus Peterson, 39, of LaFayette was arrested on Jan. 19 and charged with writing a bad check.
Eulice Dale Gordon, 53, of 2610 28th Ave. SW, Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 18 at Peachtree Apartments and charged with public drunkenness.
Latoya Michelle Griffin, 25, of Five Points was arrested on Jan. 16 and charged with probation violation.
Demetria Marshall Poole, 27, of 69823 Hwy. 22, Roanoke, was arrested on Jan. 16 and charged with failure to appear in court (improper tag).
