Announcements: High school season football tickets on sale now
Season tickets for the upcoming Woodland varsity football season are now available for $50 each.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. For more information please call the Woodland school office at 256-449-2315.
RCHS football season tickets
A few reserved season tickets remain for the upcoming RCHS football season at a cost of $50 each. General admission season tickets are available for $30 each. All-year sports passes are available for $100 for an individual and $200 per family.

Wadley season tickets
Wadley high school football season tickets go on sale today at a cost of $30 for the five scheduled home games. Tickets are available through the high school at 256-395-2286.
Roanoke youth soccer
The Roanoke recreation department signups for youth soccer will be Saturdays, August 25 and September 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Those interested in signing up can also go by the recreation center during normal business hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday to register.
Registration is $35 per player and is open to all children ages 4-14.

Handley preseason football info
Fans planning to sit on the visitor’s side of Wright Field for Friday’s preseason game between Handley and Woodland are asked to turn onto Schuessler Street then into the softball fields to park. A visitor gate will be open on the West side the stadium.
Tickets for the game are general admission only and are available the rest of this week during school hours for $5 each or at the gate. No reserved seat tickets will be sold for the preseason game.
Also, the SGA will conduct a cake raffle during the game. Raffle tickets will sell for $1 each with a top prize of $100 to the winner. The proceeds from the raffle will go toward the cost of the planned community playground.
