Louise Morrison Mitchell
(ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.) Louise M. Mitchell, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at the home of her daughter in North Carolina.
Born in Randolph County to the late Thomas Leroy and Grace Morrison, she was the loving wife of the late Rev. Warren Mitchell. She retired from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company with more than 25 years of service and was active in the community and Congregational Methodist Church in Golden Springs and Piedmont.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Dame; one grandson; one stepson Jerry of Anniston; and one sister.
A memorial service was at Gray Brown-Service Chapel, Anniston, on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leron Murphy and the Rev. Frank Rasbury officiating.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Countryside Hospice Care, 1021 Noble St., Suite 204, Anniston, AL 36201. Hospice Care had a heartfelt and special place in Louise’s life and helping others was her wish.
