Flora ‘Bo’ Daniel Spratlin

(WOODLAND) Services for Flora “Bo” Daniel Spratlin, 81, of Woodland will be Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at noon at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. David Daniel and the Rev. Tony Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Spratlin died Friday, Dec. 23, at her home.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the church.

Mrs. Spratlin is survived by four daughters, Sandra Dobbins of Augusta, Ga., Vickie Stapler of Wedowee, Kathy Sherrer of Birmingham, Debra Roberts of Woodland; one sister, Ethel Perry of Lanett; two brothers, Charles Arlice “Big Bud” Daniel of Dahlonega, Ga., and H.E. Daniel of Woodland; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kevin Stapler, Matthew Sherrer, John Roberts, Nathan Sherrer, Gregg Reese and Flip Chalfant.

Mrs. Spratlin was born Nov. 24, 1924, daughter of Wilburn Eli and Marvin Francis Fincher Daniel. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church, had been a seamstress at Breman/Bowdon Manufacturing, a member of the Woodland Senior Citizens Club, member of the Woodland Bible Study Club and the Providence WMU. Mrs. Spratlin was preceded in death by her husband, John Alvin Spratlin; two sisters, Elli Bishop and Jewell Calhoun; and one brother, Robert Harlice “Lil Bud” Daniel. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Providence Baptist Building Fund.
