J.F. Market robbed

A masked gunman robbed J.F. Market on Main Street in Roanoke on Sunday night.

According to Chief Adam Melton of Roanoke Police Department, a black male between 6 feet and 6-foot-2 and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds went into the convenience store at approximately 9:05 p.m. He was wearing a ski mask and dark clothing.

The gunman demanded money and took it from the cash register. He then fled on foot in the direction of Lebanon Street.

Arrests

Michael P. McCain, 32, of Columbus, Ga., was arrested on Aug. 21 in the Randolph Plaza parking lot and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Aaron Rueter, 21, of Oxford was arrested on Aug. 20 on U.S. 431 South and charged with DUI.

Chad Sloan Carden, 24, of County Road 16, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 19 on County Road 87, Roanoke, and charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.

Kerry Ann Moore, 30, of 320 W. Broad St., Wedowee, was arrested on Aug. 19 and charged with writing a bad check.

Curtis Anthony Johnson, 18, of 728 County Rd. 862, Wadley, was arrested on Aug. 18 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Daryle Brannon Farr, 42, of 2131 Bud Cummings Rd., Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 17 and charged with third-degree assault.

Jonathan Jay Dufrane, 18, of 2441 County Rd. 87, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with harassing communications. He was arrested on Aug. 17 on Mulberry Street and charged with harassment.

George Willis Whatley, 44, of 1149 Country Club Rd., Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 17 on Chestnut Street and charged with DUI and violation of the liquor law.

William Mulkey, 48, of 324 Field St., Apt. 34, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with writing a bad check.

Jimmy Ray Pope, 44, of 243 McCarter Dr., Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with reckless endangerment and harassing communications.

Cindy Virginia Holloway, 42, of 310 County Rd. 61, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with writing a bad check.

Marsha Johnson Marinez, 41, of 7356 Hwy. 431, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with failure to appear in court.

Rhonda Denitra Evans, 27, of 775 County Rd. 42, Wedowee, was arrested on Aug. 15 at Budget Inn, Roanoke, and charged with failure to appear in court.

Zachary Daniel Callahan, 19, of 239 Mulberry St., Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 14 on County Road 79 and charged with driving under the influence.

Aisha Amina Dozier (also known as Asisha Dozier or Aisha Trammell), 26, of 185 Cook Rd., Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 13 and charged with failure to appear in court.

Thomas Bernard Weaver, 23, of 125 Magnolia Lane, Roanoke, was arrested on Aug. 9 and charged with failure to appear in court.
