James Harvey Lashley

(WADLEY) Services for James Harvey Lashley, 63, of Wadley will be Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Manley Lashley of Wadley; three daughters, Susan McGill of Wadley, Jammie Cole of Wadley and Judy McCool of Lago Vista, Texas; three sisters, Alice Brewer, Lottie Pilgrim and Hazel Calhoun of Roanoke; two brothers, Herman Lashley of Wadley and Bobby Joe Lashley of Daytona, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Denham, Rodney Manley, Freddie Brewer, Shane Burke, Michael Brewer and John Wilkins.

Mr. Lashley was born April 21, 1942, son of John Robert and Lena Ruth Worthy Lashley. He was a Baptist by faith and a self-employed heavy equipment operator.
