Lamar Nance

(LINCOLN) Services for Lamar Nance, 76, of Lincoln, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Gray Brown Service Chapel with the Rev. Tom Bonds officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Nance died Tuesday, May 10, in Anniston.

Survivors include his sons, Joe Nance of Roanoke, Jim Nance of Eastaboga, David Nance of Arab;a sister, Louise Dalton of Rainsville; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joe Allen Nance, Bob Ryan, Sam Ramsey, Robbie Angles, Chuck Burns and Keith Burns.

Mr. Nance was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of the Baptist faith. He was a hard-working, loving daddy and granddad. We was preceded in death by his wife, Helen B. Nance; parents Luther and Gertrude Nance; brother, Ralph Nance; and two sisters, Doris Terlaje and Marie Jones.
