Willie Frank Sims

(LaFAYETTE) Willie Frank Sims, 50, of LaFayette died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. CST at Greater Pine Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Justin Freeman, pastor, and Ed Vines officiating. Burial will follow at Skyview Cemetery.

Mr. Sims is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Sims of LaFayette; two sons, Demetrius Smith of LaGrange and Marcellus Sims of LaFayette; seven sisters, Josephine Finley, Rosie M. Crenshaw, Lora Sims, Jeanette Ross and Mary Finley, all of LaFayette, and Elizabeth Reese and Patricia Poole of Wadley; two brothers, James Sims of Roanoke and Jessie Sims of LaFayette; his mother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

Mr. Sims was born June 23, 1954, in Chambers County.
