Incidents and arrest are for period ending on December 11th
- Randolph County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) in the execution of a search warrant on County Road 900 in the Mount Zion area, west of Roanoke. Jeffrey Wayne Addison, 55, was arrested and charged with four counts of dissemination of obscene material.
- The owner of Spratlin’s Grocery on Highway 48 at Hawk reported money missing from the safe. An employee of the store explained how she had been scammed into using it to pay for an alleged “FedEx package.”
- A member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on County Road 26 in the Broughton community reported that someone had spray painted graffiti on the front doors and sign of the church.
- A complainant reported that a family member struck her 2008 Ford Taurus twice with an axe at a residence on County Road 64, Woodland.
- A Wedowee resident reported that someone had cashed a check made out to him.
- On Dec. 8, a resident reported being the victim of a scam when trying to purchase a sofa on Facebook Marketplace.
- Criminal littering was reported on County Road 19 near Morrison’s Crossroads on Dec. 8.
- A complainant reported that someone set fire to a field on County Road 88 in the Corinth North area on Dec. 8.
- A side by side was reported stolen on Dec. 10-11 from a residence on County Road 466, Woodland.

Frank Dean Wilson, 45, of Roanoke – failure to appear in court (third-degree burglary, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief), child support and fourth-degree theft – Dec. 5
James Tamarcus “Bird” Battle, 39, of Five Points – failure to appear in court (child support, carrying a pistol without a permit, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute) – Dec. 5
Gary Ray “Big Baby” Langston, 29, of Wedowee – failure to appear in court (child support) – Dec. 5
Stanley Dewayne Weaver, 62, of Wedowee – failure to appear in court (possession of drug paraphernalia) ñ Dec. 6

Clint Shane Bankston, 50, of Albertville – first-degree possession of marijuana and distribution of a controlled substance – Dec. 8
Andrew Bernard Sims, 32, of Wadley – probation violation – Probation & Parole – Dec. 9
Willie Nelson Scarborough, 40, of Graham – failure to appear in court (possession of a controlled substance, first-degree theft of property and fourth-degree receiving stolen property) and two counts of probation revocation – Dec. 11
Shelby Claire Sipe, 33, of Auburn – third-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree burglary. This is in connection with a burglary several months ago on County Road 7 in the Foster’s Crossroads area. – Dec. 11
