Tony Johnson

(BYRON, Ga.) Tony Johnson, 37, of Byron, Ga., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at Houston Medical Center, Warner Robbins, Ga.

Graveside services were at noon on Thursday, Aug. 17, at Darian Cemetery, with the Rev. Byran Lee Yates officiating.

Surviving are two sons, James Neil Johnson and William Michael Johnson of Indiana; his father, Neil Johnson of Travelers Rest, S.C.; his mother, Faye Whaley of Byron, Ga.; two brothers, William Thomas Johnson of Ft. Valley, Ga., and Timothy Louis Johnson of Opelika; and his grandmother, Jimmie Lee Whaley of Byron, Ga.

Pallbearers were Ellis Brown, Edward Estes, Ollie Redmond, Jerry Brown and Eddie Adams.

Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 25, 1968, in Peach County, Ga. He was employed as a student loan officer for the Sally Mae Organization of the U.S. Government.
