Albert Bailey

(WADLEY) Albert Bailey, 58, of Wadley died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at his residence.

Services were Saturday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Abanda with the Rev. Calvin Trammell, pastor, officiating. Burial followed at Bailey Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Jannie Bailey of Wadley; two daughters, Shenell Bailey of Roanoke and Rhonda Faye Walker of Atlanta; four sons, Albert Bailey of Roanoke, Larry Vinson Bailey of LaFayette, Jackie Tucker of Montgomery and Robert Earl Tucker of LaGrange, Ga.; three sisters, Mattie Wright and Vera Woody, both of Penton, and Ruby Faye Avery of LaFayette; three brothers, Walter B. Bailey of Wadley and Milton Bailey and Miles Jr. Bailey, both of LaFayette; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bailey was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Chambers County. He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Abanda.
