Roger Donald Brown

(ROANOKE) Services for Roger Donald Brown, 59, of Roanoke, will be Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Bobby Burroughs and Randall Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

Mr. Brown died Saturday, Aug. 30.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Jackson Brown of Roanoke; one daughter, Gena Teague of Edwardsville; one son, Chase Brown of Roanoke; one sister, Evelyn Powell of Tallapoosa, Ga.; two brothers, Dwight Brown and Ronald Brown, both of Fruithurst; and four grandchildren.

A former Cleburne County resident, Mr. Brown was born Jan. 8, 1949, son of Eugene and Grace Biggers Brown. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had been employed with Anniston Army Depot.

Pallbearers will be Roger Hester, Ronnie Brown, Dusty Brown, Sheldon Brown, Cody Dever, David Goodrich and Ronald Cameron.
