Robert Lee Waldrep

(LANETT) Robert Lee Waldrep, 72, of Lanett died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Hospice LaGrange.

Services were Monday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jay Ezell officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.

Mr. Waldrep is survived by his wife, Glenda Ann Waldrep of Lanett; a daughter, Valerie Bledsoe of Valley; a son, Jason Waldrep of Lanett; two granddaughters; a sister, Janice Ferrell of Riverdale, Ga.; a brother, Bob Duffee of Lanett; and several nieces and nephews.

Born March 23, 1936, in Randolph County, Mr. Waldrep was the son of the late Charley B. and Eva Hanvey Waldrep. He enjoyed many things, most especially his church, New Testament Tabernacle, and his visits to McDonald’s. Mr. Waldrep’s other interests included his guns and shooting of them, antique car shows and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Flowers will be accepted, but those who desire may make memorial donations to Hospice LaGrange in Mr. Waldrep’s memory.
