Fourth of July Boat Parade

The Fourth of July Boat Parade on Lake Wedowee will be Saturday, July 3.

Check-in for boats begins at 9 a.m. at Re/Max Lakefront. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will take the boats past Lakeside Marina and Wedowee Marine.

Boats will be judged for “Most Patriotic, “Most Creative” and “Best Personal Watercraft.”

Registration is $10 per boat. Forms must be received at Re/Max Lakefront by 5 p.m. on July 2. Proceeds benefit Randolph County Sheriff’s Department. For more information, call 256-276-7959 or email [email protected].
