MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE

Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Linda A. Houston, a married woman, on May 18, 1995, to Green Tree-AL, LLC, successor in interest to and f/k/a Conseco Finance Corporation-Alabama f/k/a Green Tree Financial Corporation, which mortgage is recorded in Volume 312, Page 131, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Randolph County, Alabama, the undersigned, as Mortgagee or Transferee, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in the said mortgage will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash in front of the main entrance of the Randolph County Courthouse in Wedowee, Alabama, on March 25, 2011, during the legal hours of sale the following real estate situated in Randolph County, Alabama, to wit:

Start at the NW corner of the NE1/4 of SW1/4 of Section 9, Township 20 South, Range 11 East; thence run South 03 degrees 43 minutes 55 seconds East 402 feet; thence run South 03 degrees 43 minutes 58 seconds East 258.7 feet; thence run South 87 degrees 27 minutes 06 seconds East 445.42 feet to the point of beginning, being a point that is 445.42 feet East of the SW corner of the N1/2 of the NE1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 9, Township 20 South, Range 11 East; thence run North 03 degrees 43 minutes 58 seconds East 300 feet, more or less, to the boundary of the lot owned by Shine Satterwhite; thence run Easterly along Shine Satterwhite’s boundary to a point that is 67 feet East of Larry Colley’s East boundary line; thence run South 03 degrees 43 minutes 58 seconds West 300 feet, more or less, to the South boundary of the said N1/2 of the NE1/4 of SW1/4 at a point that is 67 feet East of the point of beginning; thence run West 67 feet to the point of beginning; being one-half acre, more or less.

Together with the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging.  Said property will be sold on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis subject to the right of way easements and restrictions of record in the Probate Office of Randolph County, Alabama, and will be subject to existing special assessments, if any, which might adversely affect the title to the subject property.

This sale is made for the purpose of paying the indebtedness secured by said mortgage, as well as the expenses of foreclosure.
