Rape, kidnapping, attempted murder among charges against county man
The charges have now been totaled up for William Harvey “Bill” Bridges, 30, of 5639 County Rd. 65, who was arrested on Oct. 30 after incidents reported in last week’s Leader at his home in the Rock Stand community and in the Roanoke mill village.
The charges include: discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, attempted murder, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, theft of property, rape, kidnapping, domestic violence (strangulation), distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful imprisonment and third-degree criminal mischief.
