Carl David Ingram

(LINEVILLE) A memorial services for Carl David Ingram, 41, of Lineville will be at First United Methodist Church in Ashland on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Bill Brown will officiate.

Mr. Ingram died Wednesday, May 1, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

He was born in Pascagoula, Miss., resided in Virginia for a small time, and had been living in Lineville for the past 24 years. He worked many jobs, including Truwood, Koch’s and Jeldwen in Wedowee making storm doors. Mr. Ingram loved to collect pocketknives and model cars and hunt. He loved to fish, but made sure to never eat them. Mr. Ingram was an avid Mississippi State fan and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashland.

Mr. Ingram is survived by his parents, Carl Edward and Ruby Jewel Ingram; seven siblings, Michael Ingram of Guntersville, Michelle Pavon of Anniston, Coy, Thomas, Johnny and Christopher Ingram, all of Lineville, and Debbie Jones of Moss Point, Miss.; and a large extended family.

The family requests no flowers; however, the family prefers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202, 1-800-342-2383), the VFW (406 W. 34th St., Kansas City, MO 64111, 816-756-3390), or the American Heart Association (7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TW 75231, 1-800-242-8721).
