Notice of Public Hearing

The Randolph County Water Authority will be holding a Public Hearing to review its application for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), and to make available to the public the contents of the associated Environmental Information Document (EID).

The EID may be reviewed at the Randolph County Water Authority Office during Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

These documents include preliminary design and environmental information related to the proposed improvements to the Randolph County Water Authority water distribution system. The proposed project includes construction of a new water storage tank.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to inform customers of the Randolph County Water Authority of the proposed actions, discuss the estimated cost associated with the projects, and to address citizens’ concerns, if any, with the plan.

The Public Hearing location and time are as follows:

Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Randolph County Water Authority, located at 1307 Main Street South, Wedowee, Alabama 36278.
