Incidents
May 21 or 22 – County Road 451, near Prospect Church
Someone cut a fence in five locations and allowed cattle to escape. A suspect was identified.
May 25 – Dollar General, County Road 4
A known suspect entered the store, acting erratically and waving a pistol. Store management requested that the individual be trespassed from the property.
May 26 – County Road 59, near Welcome Home Church
A chest was reported stolen from a residence. A suspect was identified.
May 26 – Eubanks Point Road, near Auslin’s Chapel
A complainant reported that a neighbor cut trees and shrubs located on his property.
May 28 – County Road 87, Bethel East Community
Damage to a game camera was reported. A suspect was identified.
May 29 – County Road 621, Napoleon Community
Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were injured in a single-vehicle crash involving a 2000 GMC Sierra. One of the teens was transported to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham for treatment.
May 30 – County Road 63, Haywood Community
A property owner reported finding bullet holes in barn doors. A shooting house had been moved and overturned, and a utility trailer had also been moved.

Kenneth Bernard Hill, 52, Roanoke – Failure to Appear in Court (Second-Degree Assault) – May 27
Corderra Manchez Todd, 38, Roanoke – Second-Degree Possession of Marijuana and Three Counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance – May 27
Jason Dewayne Foster, 45, Roanoke – First-Degree Assault and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle – May 28
This arrest is related to a shooting that occurred outside a residence on County Road 65 in the Broughton community on May 16.

Nicholas Scott Copeland, 37, Roanoke – Obstruction of Justice (False Identification), Second-Degree Promoting Prison Contraband, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Tampering with Physical Evidence – May 29
Chantelle Marie McCormick, 47, Roanoke – Failure to Appear in Court (Possession of a Controlled Substance, Second-Degree Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) – May 29
