Roanoke Rotary Club president Luke Farmer presents a $100 prize check to Ben Pike for the longest drive at the Rotary Club’s annual golf tournament fundraiser last Saturday in Roanoke.
The fourth annual David Denton Memorial Golf Tournament was a huge success. The Roanoke Rotary Club was able to raise over $6,000 for local charities and college scholarships. The tournament would not have been possible without the volunteer efforts of the Roanoke Rotary club and the Handley High School Interact Club.
The weather scared off many of the golfers, but nobody got rained on and the Roanoke Rotary Club handed out $1,200 in prize money. It was a great day for the club and the community.
