Sherri Lamarr Shaddix

Sherri Lamarr Shaddix of Wadley, Alabama went to be with our Heavenly Father on March 8,2026.

She was born July 22, 1956 to Dan and Adelaide Shaddix of Wadley. Sherri leaves behind two daughters, Danna (Deke) Hilyer and Stacy Ennis; five grandchildren, MaKenzie (Chris) Thomason, Brock (Kathryn) Ennis, Curt Hilyer, Jagger Hilyer, and Lydia Hilyer; five great-grandchildren, Nash, Blakely, Sloan, and Hudson Thomason and Dawson Ennis. She also leaves a sister, Tammi Shaddix and a brother, Jamie (Tammi Sue) Shaddix, and a sister-n-law, Sharon Shaddix, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, and one dear friend, Donna Mulkey.

Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Adelaide Shaddix, and her brother, Danny Shaddix.

Sherri was a dedicated registered nurse who cared for and loved her patients in home health care until she retired. She also loved her animals! Not only did she love her animals, but she loved all animals. All who knew her, knows this!

Sherri was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. We will miss her more than she’ll ever know!

A private memorial service will be held in May by her family.
