Edith Elaine Houston

(ROANOKE) Memorial services for Edith Elaine Houston, 88, of Roanoke will be Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Sept. 4, after a long illness.

Edith was a faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed witnessing about her faith.

She is survived by her son, Lamont (Gwen); four grandchildren, Gabrielle Houston, Donald Houston, Gina Smith and David Houston; sisters- and brother-in-law; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
