ORDINANCE 2019-11-02

An Ordinance to Change Name of Gaston Street To Countess Lane

Whereas, the Mayor and City Council voted on November 18, 2019 to present an Ordinance at its next regular meeting to be held on November 25, 2019, concerning the re-naming of a City Street; and

Whereas, all residents residing on Gaston Street were mailed a letter concerning the re-naming of Gaston Street, located in Roanoke, Alabama, to Countess Lane; and

Whereas, the City of Roanoke upon its passage of this Ordinance will notify E-911 of such change. It will be the responsibility of the property owners to change any necessary documents pertaining to their address change.

Now, therefore, be it resolved, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Roanoke, Alabama that Gaston Street hereby be re-named to Countess Lane.
