RESOLUTION #1203

Whereas, a regular municipal election has been called to be held on the 25th day of August, 2020, and a runoff election to be held, if necessary, on the 6th day of October, 2020; and

Whereas, Section 11-46-27 of the Alabama Code of Alabama of 1975, and regulations adopted pursuant thereto provide, in part, that the municipal governing body, not less than 15 days before the holding of any municipal election appoint from the municipality, officers to hold the election as follows; where electronic ballot counters are used, at least one inspector and three clerks,

Now therefore, be it resolved, by the City Council of the City of Roanoke, Alabama, that the election officers for said election shall be as follows:

Chief Inspector – Danita Nolen

Inspectors: Fred Hill

Registration Clerks, Ballot Clerks, Machine Clerks: Rhonda Hill, Paula Lambert, Mary Ammons, Dorothy Tidwell, Vicki Nixon, Agnes Watkins, Debra Royston, Leon Hill, and Becky Hill.

Absentee Ballot Clerks: Chief Inspector Danita Nolen, Mary Ammons, and Dorothy Tidwell.

Compensation for the polling officials is hereby set at $150 per day for Chief Inspector and Inspectors. Compensation is hereby set at $125 per day for Registration Clerks, Ballot Clerks, and Machine Clerks.

Adopted and approved this 27th day of July, 2020.
