WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms and conditions of a mortgage from JUDY C MITCHELL AND WILLIAM J MITCHELL, WIFE AND HUSBAND, to MORTGAGE ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION SYSTEMS INC AS NOMINEE FOR PLATINUM MORTGAGE INC., on the 30th day of September, 2016, said mortgage recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Randolph County, Alabama, on October 11, 2016, in Deed/Mortgage Book 615, Page 237 , Randolph County, Alabama Records, said Mortgage having subsequently been transferred and assigned to WEI Mortgage Corporation, by instrument recorded in the aforesaid Probate Office; notice is hereby given that the undersigned WEI Mortgage Corporation, as Mortgagee/Transferee, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the Courthouse in Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama, on May 16, 2019, during the legal hours of sale, all of its right, title, and interest in and to the following described real estate, situated in Randolph County, Alabama, to-wit: THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE SITUATED IN ALABAMA, COUNTY OF RANDOLPH, TO-WIT: ALL THAT PART OF THE SW 1/4 OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 18, RANGE 11 THAT LIES WEST OF THE PRESENT U.S. HIGHWAY 431 EXCEPT 4 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, THAT IS IN THE SE CORNER OF THE LAND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SE CORNER OF THE SW 1/4 OF SW 1/4; THENCE NW ALONG THE W SIDE OF HIGHWAY #431, 170 YARDS, MORE OR LESS, TO AN IRON STOB; THENCE W 96 YARDS TO IRON STOB; THENCE S 118 YARDS, MORE OR LESS, TO SECTION LINE; THENCE E ALONG SECTION LINE TO POINT OF BEGINNING, THE INTENT OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED IS TO CONVEY 16 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS. Said legal description being controlling, however the property is more commonly known as 10121 OLD HWY 431, WEDOWEE, AL 36278.
