(LaGRANGE, Ga.) Funeral services for Johnie Thomas Brown, 81, of LaGrange, Ga., were at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, Roanoke, with the Rev. Douglas Brown officiating. Burial followed in Randolph Memory Gardens, Roanoke.

Mr. Brown died Thursday, Nov. 24, at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born March 29, 1930, the son of Ollie and Mary Ensley Sanders Brown. He was a retired minister and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Brown is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Roy Cadenhead of LaGrange, Letricia and Tommy McInanary of Jacksonville, Fla., and Penny and Robert Walters of Auburn, Ala.; three sons and their wives, Douglas and Jane Brown of Five Points, Ala., Randy Paul and Sharon Brown of Beulah, Ala., Randy and Cheryl Scofield of Milledgeville, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nell Walker and Betty Jean Baker of Lake City, Fla.; and one brother James Brown of Lake City. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; one brother, Bill Brown; and one sister, Mary Donaldson.

Pallbearers were his grandsons.
