(ROANOKE) Graveside services for Michael David Hyatt, 57, of Roanoke will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 11 a.m. EDT at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Ga.

Mr. Hyatt died Sunday, June 21, at his residence.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 26.

A Georgia native, Mr. Hyatt was born Nov. 5, 1962, the son of Riley and Rosie Smith Hyatt. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a plant superintendent at Guardian Automotive LaGrange Molding.

Survivors include his two daughters, Sherry Houle (Bill) of Waverly Hall, Ga., and Tabitha Ginther (Andrew) of Columbus, Ga.; two sons, Michael Hyatt of LaGrange and Kendall Hyatt (Alison Inoh) of Smyrna, Ga.; six grandchildren, Henry Ginther and Hattie Ginther, both of Columbus, and Julie Striblin, Micah Striblin, Jacob Houle and Brenna Houle, all of Waverly Hall; sister, Betty Caswell (Donald) of Franklin, Ga.; and brother, Larry Hyatt (Pam) of Roanoke. Mr. Hyatt was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
