(LINEVILLE) The funeral for Harvey Lee Harmon, 72, of Lineville will be Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Charlie Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor's Crossroads Church of Christ Cemetery, Roanoke.

Mr. Harmon passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

A Wedowee native, Mr. Harmon was born Oct. 8, 1949, the son of Grover and Thelma Whaley Harmon. He worked as a lead man at Plantation Patterns.

Survivors include his two daughters, Tonya McCormick (Tony) of Lineville and Sara Sims of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Heather Ashworth, Allon McCormick, Brooklyn McCormick, Nakell McCormick, Conner McCormick, Elisa Bledsoe and Kimberly Bledsoe; five great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Gene Harmon of Valley, Donald Harmon of Lineville, Roy Harmon of Roanoke and Lowell Harmon of Opelika. Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan Harmon; brother, Jimmy Harmon, and two sisters, Mary Ann Proctor and Maudine Dewberry.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Preston, Cason Lane, Ronnie McCormick, Cody Lindsey, Dustin McCormick and Chris Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Allon McCormick and Mark Harmon.
