(ROANOKE) The funeral for Scott Bolan, 51, of Roanoke will be Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Whaley and Bro. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, anyone attending the visitation or service is asked to please practice social distancing and wear masks.

Mr. Bolan passed away Friday, Jan. 7, at Northside Hospital Atlanta.

A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Bolan was born in Montgomery on Feb. 23, 1970, the son of Nick R. and Carol Wyatt Bolan. He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church and worked as a mechanic at Mohawk. Mr. Bolan loved to read, especially his Bible, and to watch westerns and loved pets. He was an avid hunter and loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and reloading ammunitions.

Survivors include his wife, Karyn Bolan of Roanoke; parents, Nick and Carol Bolan, both of Roanoke; three daughters, Ashley Robinson (Brian), Amanda Kirby and Kasey Vollenweider (Andrew), all of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Brantley Robinson and Raelyn Robinson; brother, Russ Bolan (Wendy) of Woodland; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Frye, Keith Farmer, Rick Robinson, Chance Hill, Tim Mann and Render Yarbrough.
