(WADLEY) Clemedean Pearson Staples, 76, of Wadley died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika.

Due to the current social gathering restrictions, their will be a private graveside service on Saturday, April 4, in Provident Cemetery, Millbrook, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Douglas Jones officiating.

Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Staples is survived by her daughter, Lolita White of Chesapeake, Va.; four sisters, Angelene Culpepper (Warnzie) of Waverly Hall, Ga., Betty Jean Momern (Mark) of Wadley and Aradeil Pearson and Mellony Williams, both of Compton, Calif.; brother, Cannon Pearson (Henrietta) of Gardena, Calif.; grandchild, James White Jr.; special nephew, Phillip Momern (Barbara) of Birmingham; other relatives and friends.
