(WADLEY) Graveside services for Agnes Benefield Landers, 92, of Wadley were Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at Randolph Memory Gardens with the Rev. Scott Whaley officiating.

Mrs. Landers died Friday, Aug. 9, at Traylor Health & Rehab Center.

A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Landers was born Jan. 29, 1927, the daughter of McCarley and Doshie Madden Benefield. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and had worked as a sewing machine operator at Palm Beach.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Tyre Cole of Wadley; two grandchildren, Denney Cole and Chris Cole; three great-grandchildren, Dusty Cole, Cassie Cole and Anna Kate Cole; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kyler Ogle and Clate Ogle. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Clay "G.C." Landers; daughter, Vicky Cole; son, Tony Landers; sister, Runette Walker; and two brothers, Dorsey Benefield and Doyle Benefield.
