(ROANOKE) The funeral for Ann Parker Moon Stewart, 84, of Roanoke will be Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church with Bro. Tyler Worthey officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Mrs. Stewart will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services on Monday.

Mrs. Stewart passed away Friday, Nov. 19, at her residence.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Stewart was born July 3, 1937, the daughter of Parker Faucett and Virginia Gross Moon. She retired from Southern Union - Opelika and worked as a secretary at various places. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Pleasant Hill Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Stewart of Roanoke; daughter, Theresa Watson (Ray) of Kingman, Ariz.; sons, Scott Lamar Stewart (Theresa) of Buford, Ga., and John Parker Stewart (Jennilee) of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Scott Stewart, John Stewart, Parker Stewart, Stephen Lowe, Alex Saucedo and Ray Watson.
