(ASHLAND) The celebration of life for William Ray Lipham, 69, of Ashland will be Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday before services begin.
Mr. Lipham passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Lipham was born March 23, 1952, the son of Levelle and Maggie Sanfrantello Lipham. He was Baptist by faith and drove a truck for Royster Enterprise.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Lopez (husband, Oreo) of Heflin; son, Joel Brinkley (wife, Christina) of Conway, S.C.; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Dean, Roland Brinkley, Lycean Brinkley and Trinity Brinkley; three nephews and two nieces. Mr. Lipham was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Sara Lipham; brother, Wayne Lipham; and sister, Thercy Brown.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Dean, Joel Brinkley, Oreo Lopez, Joseph Lipham, Chris Craven and Alan Lipham.
