(GRIFFIN, Ga.) Graveside services for Jackie Brown Wadsworth, 76, of Griffin, Ga., formerly of Roanoke, will be Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Hannah officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 1:45 p.m. before services begin.
Mr. Wadsworth died Thursday, Sept. 24, at his residence.
A Chambers County native, Mr. Wadsworth was born July 14, 1944, the son of Jack Weilder and Hazel Devaine Wadsworth. He worked in plastics extrusion at Exopack before retiring. Mr. Wadsworth was a big Auburn University and Atlanta Falcons football fan, and he loved his family, nature, flowers, traveling and going to casinos.
Survivors include his daughter, Dion Wadsworth of Griffin; son, Todd Wadsworth and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Wadsworth, of Williamson, Ga.; son-in-law, Steve Kilgo; three grandchildren, Jessie Brooks, Jarren Wadsworth and Kaci Wadsworth; and two great-grandchildren, Brennan Brooks and Wolf Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Wadsworth; and brother, Richard Wadsworth.
