(GRAHAM) Cecil W. Cosper, 92, of Graham died June 14, 2020, at Tanner Medical Center.
Graveside services were at 3 p.m. CDT June 17, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Graham with his son, Dr. Barry F. Cosper, officiating.
He was born April 3, 1928, to the late Charlie Clayton Cosper and Gladys Turner Cosper. He was a faithful member, Sunday school teacher and deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church in Graham, and retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company in Bowdon, Ga.
Survivors include his sons and their wives, Barry Cosper (Cathy) and Paul Cosper (Jackie); grandchildren, Melissa Gerrish, Brandy Huey, Brooke Corlett, Melinda Williams, Clay Cosper and Liz Spradlin; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Catherine Kitchens, Carolyn Vowell and Betty Gray. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Bernice Rogers Cosper; sons, Larry Cosper and Philip Cosper; brothers Floyd Cosper and Julian Cosper; sister, Margaret Cunningham; and second wife, Charlotte Runyan Cosper.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bessemer Baptist Association/Season of the Savior Fund, 750 Montclair Rd., Birmingham, AL 35213.
