(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Delores J. Puckett, 59, of Roanoke will be Sunday, May 31, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Bill Puckett, Tim Whaley and David Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Puckett died Thursday, May 28, at Hospice Atlanta.

A longtime Roanoke resident, Mrs. Puckett was born in Atlanta on Nov. 27, 1955, the daughter of Leonard Franklin and Elaine Ellenburg Loyd. She was Baptist by faith and worked as a truck driver.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Puckett of Roanoke; three sons and their wives, Michael and Vanessa Puckett and Frank Wilkerson, all of Roanoke, and Kevin and Angie Puckett of Woodland; four grandchildren; two sisters, Deborah Tidwell and Sherry Vowell, both of Wedowee; and one brother, Mike Loyd of Roanoke. Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Alton Loyd, Steve Loyd and Robert Loyd.

Pallbearers will be Keenan Gosdin, Tim Kirby, Ben Blackstone, Matt Mitchell, Lee Knight and Tony Burks.
