(WEDOWEE) Graveside services for Beulah Ione Baxter Hardwick, 100, of Wedowee, formerly of Fayetteville, Ga., will be at 11 a.m. CDT at Westminster Gardens in Peachtree City, Ga., on Monday, June 8, 2020, with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating.

Mrs. Hardwick died Tuesday, June 2, at Traylor's Nursing Center in Roanoke.

A Ducktown, Tenn., native, Mrs. Hardwick was born Dec. 28, 1919, the daughter of Judge Jerome and Elsie Belle Orr Baxter. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fayetteville and a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Don Hardwick (wife, Melinda) of Wedowee; three grandchildren, Kathryn Macken (husband, Ian), Dawn Knebel (husband, Doug) and Wesley Hardwick; and four great-grandchildren, Ella Macken, Nathaniel Knebel, Noah Macken and Amelia Knebel. Mrs. Hardwick was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shelton Hardwick; three sisters; and three brothers.
