(WOODLAND) The funeral for Calvin Rex Huddleston, 55, of Woodland will be Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wally Williamson and Bro. Ralph Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday before services begin.
Mr. Huddleston died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
A longtime Randolph County resident, Mr. Huddleston was born in Carrollton, Ga., on May 22, 1965, the son of James Albert Huddleston and Mary Jane Taylor Payne. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and worked as a truck driver for YRC.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Huddleston of Five Points; daughter, Jessica L. Huddleston (Drew) of Roanoke; son, Steven B. Huddleston of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren; mother, Mary Jane Huddleston Payne (J.W.); sister, Sheila Vaughan (Davis) of Roosterville, Ga.; and brother, Leonard D. Huddleston of Woodland. Mr. Huddleston was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and brother, Charles Ray Huddleston.
Pallbearers will be Drew Henry, Kevin Trask, Allen Trask, Ken Norton, Tony Taylor and Adam Freed.
